Bihar SC ST Scholarship 2012 : Post Matric Apply Online
Schedule Caste & Schedule Tribe Welfare Department ,Government of Bihar is offering Post Matriculation Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST students to provide them proper Financial assistance to pursue further studies in Recognized Colleges & Universities in India.
Eligibility for Scholarship
** Applicant must be a citizen of India.
**Scholarship is applicable for all Post-matriculation for Post-Secondary Courses (From Class XI) in Recognized Institutions and Universities in India
**All students of SC/ST community are eligible for this Scholarship.
** Candidates currently holding another Scholarship stipend will not be eligible for this Scholarship
** Minimum annual income of Parents/Guardians must be below Rs.,2,00,000 for applying.
Value of Scholarship
Maintenance Allowance,Additional allowances for Physically Disabled Students,Books Allowance,Reimbursement of Compulsory Non-Refundable Fees etc.
Maintenance Allowances Details Per Month
1.) Group 1-Graduate & Post Graduate Courses
Hostelers – Rs.740 Day Scholars Rs. 330
2.) Group 2-Technical & Professional Post Graduate Courses
Hostelers- Rs.510 Day Scholars Rs.330
3.) Group 3-Other courses leading to Graduate & above courses
Hostelers- Rs.355 Day Scholars- Rs.185
4.)Group 4- Post Matriculation Courses -Class XI/Class XII
Hostelers- Rs.235 Day Scholars- Rs. 140
How to Apply
** Candidates first have to make their account on Bihar sate Portal using their valid e-mail Id.They are also required to enter details of any one ID Proof like :-Driving License,Class X Registration No.,Ration card,Voter ID,Pan card etc. for the purpose of Identification.
** Candidates have to upload scan copies of required documents which are given below :-
1.)Caste Certificate
2.) Residential Certificate
3) latest Residential Certificate
4.)Marks Statement of Last passed Examination
5.)Photo & Signature
6.)Educational Institute Fee Slip Details (Format can be downloaded below)
7.)Hosteller Certificate (Format can be downloaded below)
8.) Parents/Guardian Declaration Certificate (Format can be downloaded below)
** Only signature signed with blue/black pen is valid for upload
** Applicants have to upload their passport size photo.]
