Skill Test (Typing Test) Pattern for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2012

Candidates who have qualified in the written test of SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2012 are eligible for skill test which is expected to be held tentatively from 29^th September 2012.As Skill Test of SSC Stenographer Exam,is just a month ahead,so in this post we will discuss about Skill test pattern of upcoming SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2012.
Typing Test /Skill Test Pattern for SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Examination 2012
*Candidates will be given a typing material that is to be typed/transcribed on a Computer Machine.
*Skill Test would be qualifying and no candidate is exempted from appearing in this examination.
*For SSC Group’C’-First of all a dictation is given which is to be typed within 10 minutes attaining speed of at least 100 wpm for Hindi/English. While for SSC Group “D”- Minimum speed must be 80 wpm for Hindi/English.
*VH candidates (Group C)-For Stenographer Grade C  SkillTest VH(Visually handicapped)  candidates will have to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes for English Shorthand and 100 minutes for Hindi Shorthand .While for Grade D Test they will have to transcribe the matter in  70 minutes for English Shorthand test and in 95 minutes for Hindi Shorthand test. Transcription time for SSC Stenographer Grade’D” & Grade “C”
*English – Stenographer Grade ‘D’ : Total Time : 50 minutes
*Hindi -Total Time: 65 minutes
*English – For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: Total Time : 40 minutes
*Hindi- Total Time – 55 Minutes
Nature of Mistakes for SSC Stenogapher Grade “C” and D Skill Test
* Full Mistakes :-For every addition and omission for wrong word or figure and substitution of a wrong word or figure.
*Half Mistakes :- Spacing errors,wrong capitalization and spelling error caused by repetition, addition ,substitution of a letter/letters etc. ******************************************************************************************************************
