Years back, the banks like SBI, PNB, UCO, and Central Bank used to conduct exams for specialist officers separately. But when the banks decided to carry out a common written test for bank specialist officers, then the whole criteria changed. Now it is very easy for the job aspirants as they have to appear in a bank exam once and then the banks will shortlist them on the basis of their scores.

Bank Specialist Officer Exam Syllabus

Part 1: Reasoning

In this section, the candidate will have to answer questions based upon the mental aptitude. This section carries 50 questions of 50 marks. One can easily score well with the help of these questions.

Part 2: The English language

The English language test  contains questions, which are based on grammar usage and English comprehension. This part contains 50 questions carrying 25 marks. If you have prepared well, then you can score high in this section. Otherwise, this section will give you the least score.

Part 3: Quantitative Aptitude

The quantitative aptitude question means that the questions are based on Mathematics. This section is very challenging and contains 50 questions, which carry 50 marks.

Part 4: IT and Computer

The most important part of the Bank Specialist Officer exam is, Computer and IT. It contains 50 questions carrying 75 marks. If you have attempted this question very well, then it means that you are a deserving candidate for the desired role.

This section is very simple as well as very challenging. But it doesn’t mean that, students who are from non mathematical backgrounds cannot score well on it. Of course they can, if they prepare for it with a strong strategy. In order to understand it, one can take it as speed and accuracy test.

·         2D and 3D Mensuration
