The Gujarat Secondary & higher secondary education board (GSEB) is likely to declare Gujarat Board SSC Result 2016 in the first week of June 2016. In 2015, total number of students (appeared in the exam) was 4,72,561. This year in 2016, around 5.5 lakhs students appeared in GSEB SSC (10th) exam. The percentage of passed students in 2015 was 86.69% whereas the same is expected to be 89% in this year 2016. This increment in result percentage is good sign for those students who have appeared in the examinations

About GSEB Board:

The full name of GSEB is Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board. The Board was established on 1st May in 1960. The BSEB Board is responsible for all aspects related to state level education in Gujarat state. The Board prescribes syllabus for secondary schools and give recommendation for text books to be taught in government schools. The GSEB Board conducts two main examinations: Secondary school Certificate [SSC] exam for 10th standard and Higher Secondary (school) Certificate [HSC] for 12th standard.
